  Established as a peace initiative in 1995, the Cross Border Orchestra for Ireland (CBOI) is a highly acclaimed and celebrated youth orchestra with over 120 members from North & South of Ireland. The CBOI’s “Peace Proms” is musical education programme in which children from hundreds of schools throughout the North and South of Ireland participate annually.

  The Peace Proms is a musical and cultural celebration and provides a unique platform for young people to showcase their talent while promoting peace, unity and tolerance through music.

• Blythswood Shoe-box Appeal

  Holy Cross PS annual shoe-box collection for Blythswood Care fininshed on Wednesday 23 November as the Blythswood Crew came and collected 67 Shoe-boxes.  Some of the Primary 7's helped to carry the shoe-boxes to theh waiting van.

  Fun and inspiring Christmas Art Projects for school

  We are again taking part in 'My Childs Art Project' within the school.  All children will be completing their Christmas designs that will be forwarded on to My Childs Art team.

   

  All the children’s designs will be available for parents to view, personalise and order online as Christmas cards, gift tags, wrapping paper and a range of other gifts. Promotional leaflets will be given to our pupils as well as displayed in our notice board. The promotional leaflet carries your schools unique login and password to access your children's designs.  Once an order has been received, they manufacture the products and deliver them DIRECT to the customer). We will also pay your school commission on all products sold.
